Fifteenth annual Seeds of Hope celebration focuses on youth mental health
Dr. Ermshar was very honored to be asked to be the keynote speaker and host of the 15th Annual “Seeds of Hope” Gala and awards ceremony for Loma Linda University Behavioral Health. Dr. Ermshar is a Loma Linda University Alumna, so the evening was especially meaning. President Hart gave her a warm welcome and she enjoyed an afternoon of touring all the new developments at the University.

Annual Blue Ribbon Children’s Festival at the Los Angeles Music Center
Dr. Ermshar was immensely proud to be the co-chair of the Annual Blue Ribbon Children’s Festival at the Los Angeles Music Center, where we welcomed nearly 10,000 5th graders from across LA County Schools to enjoy a performance by Versa Style Dance Company, an LA-based hip hop dance company. So much fun to see all the kids loving their time at The Music Center. Thank you to Outlook Newspapers for the great coverage.

Los Angeles Opera Announces New Board Member – Dr. Annette Ermshar
The Los Angeles Opera has announced that Annette Ermshar has been elected to the Board of Directors.
Ermshar is a clinical and neuropsychologist who has her own private practice and is the Principal and CEO at Dr. Ermshar and Associates, Specialized Psychological Services.
She has also supported such as organizations as National Ability Center, the Wheelchair Foundation, Foothill Family Services, and Hillsides Pasadena Services for Children and Family.
Ershmar also sits on the board of such organizations as the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Adventist Health Glendale Foundation Board, the Pasadena Symphony and Pops, and the Blue Ribbon of the Los Angeles Music Center.
“Annette has been a big fan of the company for many years, so we were absolutely delighted when she told us she wanted to deepen her involvement with us,” said Keith R. Leonard, Jr., chairman of LA Opera’s board of directors, in an official press statement. “She is passionate not just about opera, but about giving back to the community, and we are excited to have her take on this new leadership role with us.”

Dr. Annette Ermshar elected to LA Opera board of directors
Dr. Annette Ermshar is proud to be on the Board of Directors for this fabulous performing arts organization. Dr. Ermshar attended her first opera at age 7 and was smitten. She took up singing and received a vocal scholarship to college where she studied opera and completed a minor in music. Although she does not sing anymore, she is thrilled to support some of the finest singers and performing artists. Come to the opera. Next on the LA Opera calendar is Cinderella by Rossini.
