The Lammle Playhouse 7 screened “Race to Nowhere,” a film by Vicki Abeles examining the dark side of America’s achievement culture. The screening was followed by a panel discussion that included Melissa J. Johnson, Ph.D., Annette Ermshar, Ph.D. local prominent psychologist, Brian Safdari, Founder of College Planning Experts, Inc., Joel Shapiro, Superintendent of South Pasadena Unified School District, and Shari Sinwelski M.S./Ed.S.
